The Ramp-up Engineer is responsible for managing
- up projects to contribute to the
- up of new technologies (including Transfer lines) to achieve key performances indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, cycle time, scrap rate, time to market and other
- specific metrics.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Setting deadlines, forecasting resource requirements and closely monitoring project progress to ensure objectives are met.
2. Preparing comprehensive progress reports for upper management.
3. Creating lessons learned, managing risks and developing mitigation plans.
4. Training teams and maintaining transparent communication with all stakeholders.
5. Identifying all machine or process issues and proposing solutions to achieve the planned KPIs.
6. Leading Ramp-up projects (IVS, SVS or Transfer machines) and ensuring completion of projects according to scope, plan and budget.
7. Creating Ramp-up Project Agreement, according to template to define expectations, targets, KPI’s and time.
8. Developing and managing a project schedule and work plan.
9. Driving troubleshooting and crisis situations to get the
   - up process back on track when needed.
10. Predicting resources needed to reach objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
11. Reporting to the management relevant KPIs, risks and issues.
12. Proposing process improvements and exploring continuously the possible technical developments.
13. Working closely with the Transfer Team, Commissioning Team and the Operations Department.
14. In the absence of the local manager and/or Supervisor, making decisions to ensure the continuity of production.
15. Participation in Lean activities.
16. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and lessons learned.
17. Ensuring that the project team has a
    - driven approach.
18. Drawing attention to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines.
19. Drawing attention to inefficiencies of the system.
20. Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given.
21. Taking responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position.

What we expect from you:

1. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant experience.
2. 3-4 years of work experience in Project Management.
3. Post Graduation in Project Management is a plus.
4. Six
   Sigma certifications is a plus.
5. English Level: B2 – Upper Intermediate level (based on the scale of the Common European Framework) is a must.
6. Analytical skills and strategic mindset.
7. Proficient
   - making and
   - solving skills.
8. Self-motivated with a genuine interest in improving processes and internal customer relationships.
9. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
10. Able to work as part of a team and be adaptable and flexible.
11. Ability to
    - task and organize efficiently and effectively.
12. Flexibility to deal with stress periods.
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power
    Point, Outlook).
14. Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
15. Adherence to company QA and EHS policies (Quality, LOTO, Confined Space, Fall protection, etc).
16. Recurrent travelling during the training period (up to some consecutive weeks).
17. Recurrent travelling during commissioning phases (up to 3 weeks).
