Ramp-up Engineer

The Ramp-up Engineer is responsible for managing
- up projects to contribute to the
- up of new technologies (including Transfer lines) to achieve key performances indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, cycle time, scrap rate, time to market and other
- specific metrics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting deadlines, forecasting resource requirements and closely monitoring project progress to ensure objectives are met.
- Preparing comprehensive progress reports for upper management.
- Creating lessons learned, managing risks and developing mitigation plans.
- Training teams and maintaining transparent communication with all stakeholders.
- Identifying all machine or process issues and proposing solutions to achieve the planned KPIs.
- Leading Ramp-up projects (IVS, SVS or Transfer machines) and ensuring completion of projects according to scope, plan and budget.
- Creating Ramp-up Project Agreement, according to template to define expectations, targets, KPI’s and time.
- Developing and managing a project schedule and work plan.
- Driving troubleshooting and crisis situations to get the
- up process back on track when needed. - Predicting resources needed to reach objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
- Reporting to the management relevant KPIs, risks and issues.
- Proposing process improvements and exploring continuously the possible technical developments.
- Working closely with the Transfer Team, Commissioning Team and the Operations Department.
- In the absence of the local manager and/or Supervisor, making decisions to ensure the continuity of production.
- Participation in Lean activities.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and lessons learned.
- Ensuring that the project team has a
- driven approach. - Drawing attention to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines.
- Drawing attention to inefficiencies of the system.
- Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given.
- Taking responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position.
What we expect from you:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant experience.
- 3-4 years of work experience in Project Management.
- Post Graduation in Project Management is a plus.
- Six
Sigma certifications is a plus. - English Level: B2 – Upper Intermediate level (based on the scale of the Common European Framework) is a must.
- Analytical skills and strategic mindset.
- Proficient

- solving skills. - Self-motivated with a genuine interest in improving processes and internal customer relationships.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Able to work as part of a team and be adaptable and flexible.
- Ability to
- task and organize efficiently and effectively. - Flexibility to deal with stress periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power
Point, Outlook). - Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
- Adherence to company QA and EHS policies (Quality, LOTO, Confined Space, Fall protection, etc).
- Recurrent travelling during the training period (up to some consecutive weeks).
- Recurrent travelling during commissioning phases (up to 3 weeks).
