We are looking for a Quantitative Data & BI Specialist - Tableau
MAIN TASKS:
Data Visualization:
- Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
- Ensure dashboards are
- friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with business requirements.
Data Management:
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
- Work with large datasets, perform data cleansing, and optimize data queries for performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that meet their objectives.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on how to effectively use Tableau dashboards.
Maintenance and Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of existing dashboards.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation of all dashboards, reports, and data sources.
- Keep up to date with the latest Tableau features and best practices.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:
- Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Professional experience as a Tableau Developer (at least 2 years).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with databases (e. g. , MS SQL Server, Postgre
SQL, Oracle). - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Professional experience in data analysis with programming, preferably Python (Pandas)
- Knowledge of other BI tools (e. g. , Power BI, Qlik
View) is a plus.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and
- solving skills. - Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to
- technical stakeholders. - Fluency in written and spoken English.
Other Skills:
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Knowledge in financial markets is a plus (fx, credit, rates, commodities).
- Hybrid role based in Porto or Lisbon
