Job Summary

As the Quality Assurance Automation Team Leader, you will oversee the QA Engineering team, ensuring that products meet high standards of quality and reliability. This role involves developing and implementing QA automation strategies, managing team members and collaborating with
- functional teams to enhance product quality.

The role should be based at the office in the Carnaxide area (up to 8 days per month remotely), the first month is fully
- site.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers
2. Design and develop the internal QA automation framework
3. Design and execute automated tests, report on bugs
4. Improve the integration with CI
5. Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to elaborate test plans and clarify definitions
6. Monitor and report on test results
7. Continuously seek to improve test coverage and related processes
8. Manage and maintain QA test related environments
9. Integrate various sources of data (DB, Queues, APIs, etc. )
10. Maintain clean and clear test datasets
11. Improve the technical documentation
12. Build and maintain the QA Automation Roadmap

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a Team Leader QA Automation or as a Senior QA Engineer
2. 5+ years of experience in quality assurance
3. Proficient in English
4. Deep knowledge of Javascript testing framework (Jest, ideally)
5. Good understanding of Open
   API specifications
6. Knowledge of git (Github, ideally)
7. Experienced with Agile methodologies
8. Familiar with test management tools (Ideally Qase. io and Jira)
9. Understanding of CI integration (Ideally Github actions)
10. ISTQB certification is a plus
11. Attention to detail is very much appreciated
