The role as a QA Automation Engineer is to design, implement, and maintain automated test scenarios. You will need to ensure that operational testing activities are implemented in compliance with the principles defined by the test strategy for the entrusted testing levels. The role will involve close collaboration with business analysts, product owner, and developers to comprehend the needs and contribute to the development of effective solutions.

Main Tasks:

• Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system, ensuring requirements are covered using test cases.
• Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
• Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
• Set up/maintain Continuous Integration and reports production.

Technical Skills:

• Experience in scripting and process/testing automation with knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and automation testing tools like Selenium, Cucumber, and Junit.
• Knowledge of REST and API testing tools like REST Assured.
• Knowledge and working experience in the BDD process/approach.
• Experience with CI/CD and its processes.
