We're seeking a Backend Engineer for a leading telemedicine platform in Germany, to build and further develop efficient and secure data communication channels across systems.

What you’ll do

• Build Scalable APIs: Develop and maintain highly efficient RESTful APIs using Python and Django, supporting
  - edge healthcare applications.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and optimize services on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Enhance API Security: Implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data and authentication mechanisms.
• Performance Optimization: Use tools like Datadog and Cloud
  Watch to monitor and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate and Share Knowledge: Promote a culture of learning through
  - sharing sessions and pair programming.
• Maintain High Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and
  - documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Python and Python-based frameworks (preferably Django).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORMs).
• Experience with cloud services (preferably AWS).
• Competency with revision control systems (we use Git).
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Strong collaboration skills with both developers and other subject matter experts.
