We are now looking for a Purchasing Team Leader to join our Procurement Team in Lisbon.

Responsibilities - your mission:

Position Summary: The Purchasing Team Leader not only manages disciplinary and functionally a team of purchasing assistants & specialists but also acts as a focal point/expert to Indirect Procurement Commodities and other functions within and outside the central procurement organisation to ensure
- time and
- quality delivery in regards to procurement operations.

Essential Functions:

1. Forecasting activities
2. Workload allocation and tracking
3. Ensure
   - time and
   - quality orders
4. Follow up of escalations
5. Communication with internal stakeholders (e. g. buyers, internal customers)
6. Oversee Reporting activities (& associated data analysis)
7. Use of Airbus ERP System (SAP)
8. Use of other specific tools (Coupa)
9. People management and people development
10. Build the team of purchasing assistants & specialists

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Contribution to improvement projects
2. Attendance to stakeholder meetings (buyers, tools & process department etc. )
3. Attendance to escalation meetings (open orders)

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

1. Past experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement
2. 2-3 years of experience in leading teams (desirable)
3. Communication and change management skills
4. Be customer focused, understand priorities = knows how to prioritize in case of emergencies
5. Eager to learn to work with new tools / be open to change and to continuous improvement
6. Fluency in English (in a negotiation level)
7. French, Spanish or German would be a plus
8. Enjoy a dynamic and multicultural environment with a lot of different tools and flows of material
9. Shows a lot of rigor and concentration at work
10. Digital Acumen
