Project Manager | Barcelona

EVONA have partnered with an exciting telecoms
- up, who are developing and launching a new satellite constellation. They are looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage upcoming satellite missions, ensuring they are on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and track tasks to ensure that satellite missions are executed on schedule and within budget.
2. Coordinate with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment and mission objectives are met.
3. Monitor
   -
   - day technical and programmatic management.
4. Lead the definition of system and software architectures and interface design.
5. Oversee assigned projects, coordinating with other project managers and engineering departments.
6. Work closely with technical leads and, depending on the project scope, act as a technical lead.
7. Ensure the timely release of project deliverables.
8. Produce necessary project documentation.
9. Identify, track, and mitigate project risks.
10. Monitor project budgets and allocate resources efficiently.

Required Qualifications

1. Degree in Engineering (Master’s or Ph
   D) in space, aerospace, electronics, electrical, software, mechanical, or similar disciplines.
2. At least 5 years of professional experience in project management, preferably within the space domain.
3. Empathetic, assertive, and
   - focused approach to project management.
4. Previous experience applying ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) management standards.
5. Ability to thrive in a
   - paced, growing environment.
6. Proficiency in producing technical documentation.
7. Strong understanding of and ability to apply demanding engineering standards.
8. Previous experience in space qualification processes.
9. Ability to meet deadlines and manage project schedules effectively.
10. Proficiency in communication, both within teams and with suppliers.
11. Excellent written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Fluency in Catalan or Spanish.
2. Previous experience in a successful,
   - growing New
   Space startup.
3. Proficiency with project management tools like Wrike.
4. Experience with quality assurance and/or product assurance.
5. Background in reliability engineering.
