Job Title: Project Manager – Residential Construction

Location: Algarve, Portugal

About Us:

Vardis Group is expanding its operations with the establishment of Vardis Construction in the Algarve, Portugal. Our new division focuses on delivering
- quality residential construction projects, including
- end villas. We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our residential construction projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget, scope, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management of Residential Sites:
   
   Manage daily operations of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and all stakeholders.
2. Oversee and manage project budgets, ensuring expenses do not exceed the budgeted amount.
3. Collaborate with architects and engineers to address design issues and provide solutions.
4. Ensure all building codes, ordinances, and regulations are followed throughout the construction process.
5. Coordinate with clients to address concerns or issues during the project development phase.
6. Design and Material Recommendations:
   
   Gather client input and make expert recommendations on design elements and materials.
7. Contractor and Team Management:
   
   Manage the hiring and supervision of contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
8. Scheduling and Budgeting:
   
   Create and oversee schedules, ensuring timely procurement of materials and efficient allocation of labour costs.

Education & Experience Requirements:

1. A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the construction industry, with significant roles in project engineering, construction management, or project management.
2. Proven experience handling design, budget, and scheduling challenges on residential developments, particularly
   - end villas.
3. Fluent in both English and Portuguese (mandatory).
4. Authorization to work in Portugal (mandatory).
5. An engineering qualification within Portugal is beneficial but not mandatory.
