We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Project Manager to join our software development team. Currently, we are focusing our search on professionals based in Lisbon, Portugal.

We prefer candidates from trading technology roles, especially de
Fi projects related to trading, lending, and derivatives.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects at Rho, working closely with our developers to ensure the successful delivery of new products on time. The Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for project status, risks, and issues, providing leadership and direction to the development team.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years in project management, ideally within a
   - growing startup environment, with
   - on experience in exchange platforms, fintech, or De
   Fi projects.
2. Development Knowledge: Familiarity with backend architectures, and the ability to understand complex backend and smart contract systems.
3. Financial and Trading Expertise: Proven experience or understanding of derivative markets, trading mechanics, and collateral management, preferably within exchange platforms.
4. Adaptability and Growth Mindset: Comfortable working in a
   - paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. Ability to rapidly adapt plans to align with evolving business needs and technological challenges.
5. Agile Project Management: Proficient in Agile methodologies, with experience in managing
   - functional teams.
6. Project Management Tools: Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira.
7. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage expectations and ensure alignment between business and development teams.
