Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager on behalf of our client to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of automation and control projects. Based near Lisbon, this role involves close collaboration with engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage automation and control projects from initiation to completion.
2. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
3. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
4. Coordinate
   - functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and external partners.
5. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or risks that may arise.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
7. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
8. Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize project costs.
9. Oversee system testing, commissioning, and final project delivery.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Project Manager in automation, controls, or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation systems.
3. Degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical, or a related discipline.
4. Excellent leadership,
   - solving, and
   - making skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.
7. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
8. Willingness to travel as required.
