If you have experience as a PROJECT MANAGER and you are motivated to work in a company in the food sector, we are looking for you!

We are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER for a multinational company in the food sector in Coimbra (Portugal). As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading key strategic projects ranging from the implementation of new technologies to the digitisation of processes.

You will work closely with the Head of Engineering to coordinate and oversee the execution of these initiatives, ensuring the management of teams and projects.

JOB MISSION

To efficiently manage projects to meet desired outcome and ensure a Growth Plan for the company. This includes, but is not limited to, managing stakeholders communications, correctly assessing risks and mitigating them and evaluating all possible solutions to ensure desired outcome is met.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES

• Lead the project defining clear objectives and creating detailed plans.
• Maintaining
  - quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed expectations
• Monitoring and managing the project budget to avoid overruns and ensure cost efficiency.
• Coordinate the project team, maintaining high motivation and spirit throughout the project, and keeping them aligned with the project’s goals and specs.
• Training the team to use the Project Management system and tool.
• Manage communication with stakeholders, steering committees and other interested parties, ensuring clear and transparent messages that bring useful and precise information.

REQUISITIONS

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marine Sciences, Aquaculture, Food Science or related fields.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar)
• Highly valuable to have training in Lean Manufacturing systems.
• Training in continuous improvement methodology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing
  - scale projects. It is
  - valuable that these projects are in aquaculture, food and beverages or related sectors.
• Portuguese is a must. English (advanced). Any other languagues are a plus. (Spanish, French, Italian, German. . . )
