Job Description:

We are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our Engineering Team in Vila Nova de Cerveira, Portugal.

Main accountabilities, responsibilities and deliverables:

• Lead and manage the project teams & main customer contact partner for the project during execution phases (from
  - off until closure);
• Support acquisition activities on a
  -
  - case basis as agreed with program management lead;
• Responsible for preparing and reworking the total project plan including time and budget planning, in accordance with GDPEP requirements;
• Responsible for meeting both customer and ZF milestones, key process indicators (profit, quality, time) and interacting with the customer through specific interfaces;
• Providing regular project status reports to customer and ZF management;
• Profit responsibility for product/investments/tooling and development/budget planning and total project cost control;
• Guarantee the availability of updated information about the project, manage risks, issues, and action plans to recover deviations;
• Management of modifications during the development process;
• Organizing and performing GDPEP phase exit reviews, participating in customer audits, customer assessments, and IATF audits.

Required skills and experience / main competences:

• Engineering degree or experience in the automotive industry as Program Manager;
• Competency in ZF product design fundamentals, automotive APQP processes, PPAP processes, manufacturing knowledge, and financial management basics;
• Microsoft Project user (or other similar tool);
• Preferred PMP certification through PMI, Prince 2 or Agile;
• Fluent English level, other optional languages (French, German) as a plus;
• Good communication, leadership, and teamwork skills, negotiation,
  - solving abilities, and a customer/stakeholder service orientation;
• Risk management, Financial, Quality, Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
