Your role:

As a Program Buyer New Business Pursuit, you will be part of the SCM EMEA quotations team and be responsible for materials costs calculations for all new programs Aptiv is targeting to win to support continuous growth.

• Responsible for the direct contact with suppliers to obtain best prices and delivery terms conditions according to Aptiv Purchasing strategy.
• Prepare cost estimations.
• Perform benchmarking activities to obtain the most competitive market prices.
• Support the implementation of Category strategies through best Suppliers integration.
• Participate in daily meetings with various EMEA teams, ensuring a good level of communication.
• Capacity to observe and “think outside the box” to provide inputs aimed at improving processes and tools.

Your Background:

• Degree from a commercial or technical university.
• Min. 2 years business experience in Purchasing, Sales, or Engineering.
• Good knowledge of MS Office; Good skills in Excel, Macros creation, PBI, and Power Apps.
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills are mandatory (any other language is considered a plus).
• Good communication skills and a taste for teamwork are key for this role.
• Organizational skills are essential for the role.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
