We are looking for a Production Manufacturing Engineering Leader for our plant in Arouca.

Your mission

As member of the Manufacturing Engineering function of your Plant, you will be in charge of optimizing the current process and equipments in order to improve the performance (safety, cost, efficiency, quality) :

• Defining and validating the current standards and their evolution : line lay out, time sequences, “in production” modifications for the plant processes.
• Improving the performance of the means : provide technical input, make production equipment reliable, solve problems technically to eliminate “quality obstacles”, propose innovative solutions
• Managing and organizing the maintenance of tooling and machines
• Producing procedures and standards and training people on standards, supporting the employee in work methodologies, operating processes and tools

As a launch leader for some projects of your site, you will also coordinate the integration of new products and processes in the site, supporting the definition of necessary plant means, coordinating their implementation, defining and managing capacity means, monitoring the start of production for new products (run@rate).

Qualifications :

• Engineering level of Mechanical, Industrial or similar branches
• Good level of English
• Strong communication skills
• Aware of plastic injection, blow molding process (blow molding is preferred)
• Familiar robotics systems, automation system (PLC knowledge is a preferred)
