Job Description:

From Luxe Talent, International Recruitment and Training Consultancy specialized in Fashion, Luxury, Retail and FMCG, we are looking for a Product Director for one of our clients, an international supplier specialized in Luxury-Premium Knitwear. The position is based in Guimarães (Portugal).

In our recruitment and training consultancy, we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors around Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Munich, Braga and Amsterdam.

Responsibilities:

• Involvement in product development, the production process, sales, finance and human resources.
• Working closely with the operations manager (responsible for the entire production process).
• Closely monitors development and is the main point of contact with sales staff.
• Monitors product development, production, purchasing and quotations through daily meetings with the teams.
• Working closely with the Group's founder and managing partner to develop, motivate and unite the teams.
• Coordinating communication with the client:
  - up emails, technical dossiers, planning, costing, technical feasibility, any delays and prioritising delivery and development.
• Managing the team to guarantee a commercial approach adapted to each client and to ensure an understanding of the specific needs related to the products developed and produced.

Requirements:

• International experience in
  - end products.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in textile production.
• Personal and professional characteristics valued:
  - oriented, structured, reactive, adaptable to an international environment and culture.
• A love of fashion and products, as well as an understanding of the sector's problems: organising priorities, development and production deadlines, planning.
• Fluent in English. Portuguese or French is a plus.
