Procurement Specialist
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist for a prominent company in the industrial sector. The specialist will be responsible for managing the sourcing and purchasing processes for assigned plants. This role includes monitoring material availability, managing suppliers, and coordinating with various departments within the company to maintain an efficient workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Procurement Planning: Develop and manage procurement plans to ensure the availability of materials according to production needs.
- Inventory Monitoring: Ensure optimal inventory levels and conduct regular checks to prevent stockouts.
- Product Quality: Oversee that acquired products meet established quality standards.
- Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve issues related to material supply, coordinating with other departments when necessary.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with Demand Planning, Production Planning, and Production areas to ensure an uninterrupted material flow.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate in the evaluation and selection of suppliers.
- Order Tracking: Issue and follow purchase orders to ensure the correct receipt of products.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a similar field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in similar roles.
- Technical Knowledge: ERP and office tools.
- Languages: Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English.
