The Procurement Specialist plays a key role within the Integrated Supply Chain team, ensuring efficient and timely purchase order (PO) placement while managing logistics coordination. This position focuses on maintaining smooth procurement operations, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage orders, deliveries, and inventory. By collaborating with
- functional teams—including logistics, procurement, and external vendors—the Expert Procurement Specialist ensures
- effective sourcing,
- time delivery, and compliance with organizational standards. This role is crucial for maintaining operational excellence across supply chain functions.
- Manage the
-
- end purchase order (PO) process, from requisition to delivery. - Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Work with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies related to POs, shipments, or deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders to align with production and demand forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding procurement and supplier management.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
- Assist in optimizing procurement processes by leveraging digital tools and analytics.
- Collaborate with the Logistics and Transformation team to streamline supply chain operations and identify
- saving opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain roles.
- Strong understanding of purchase order management, logistics coordination, and supplier relations.
- Experience working with
- functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and external vendors. - Proven ability to optimize purchasing processes and coordinate efficient delivery schedules.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in procurement and logistics, with a focus on improving operational efficiency.
- Experience in managing supplier performance and resolving delivery or
- related issues. - Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers.
- Based in the Porto Metropolitan Area or nearby.
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives within procurement or logistics environments, especially in
- volume operations. - Strong knowledge of digital tools and technologies in procurement and supply chain management, such as inventory management software, ERP systems, or logistics platforms.
- Familiarity with process automation to enhance procurement efficiency and streamline purchase order workflows.
