As a part of the Procurement team assigned to the data centre construction project, you will support a full range of related services.

About The Role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Services and OFCI equipment procurement & contracting strategy development
2. Strategic Sourcing
3. Development of pricing mechanisms
4. Optioning and cost benefit analysis
5. Cost forecasting
6. Preparing contract documents and drafting terms and conditions
7. Collating invitation to tender packages
8. Development of selection and evaluation criteria
9. Managing tender clarifications / returns and down selection process
10. Negotiation and award of contracts
11. Oversight of subcontracting arrangements and procurement planning
12. Business case and stakeholder management support
13. Contract oversight
14. Ensure contract compliance and oversee assurance process
15. Draft and issue project correspondence on behalf of the client
16. Contract management
17. Claims preparation and assessment
18. Change control and variation management
19. Subcontracting strategy, oversight & approvals
20. Pro-active commercial risk management
21. Lead Project meetings as appropriate

About You

Who we’re looking for:

Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

1. Technical knowledge relating to Procurement, Cost, Supply Chain, and Commercial Management - ideally both
   - and
   - contract.
2. Experience in construction industry. Direct experience in data center construction is a plus.
3. Previous experience of providing sourcing, procurement and contracts management support to large scale construction programs and projects.
4. Should have knowledge of international construction industry standards and practices.
5. Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
6. Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
7. Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
8. Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power
   Point
9. Ability to work as part of a team.
10. Fluency in English. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.

1. Engineering degree or technical education in
   - related field
