Private Banking Assistant
Job Description
MISSION
Proactively provide a daily administrative, operational and commercial support to Private Bankers in order to serve the client in a spirit of excellence
ACTIVITIES
Execute all the financial operations requested in order to meet these requests in accordance with procedures and deadlines of the Bank:
- Handle stock market transactions, foreign exchange transactions and securities transactions (entry, control and monitoring of operations)
- Handle securities and cash transfer operations (entry, control and monitoring of operations)
- Handle term deposits and fiduciary deposits (creation, modification, cancellation, monitoring of operations)
- Provide daily support to team members in terms of validation and for all complex operations
Ensure the successful completion of operations and organize tasks in case of absence in order to control the compliance of operations:
- Process all activity monitoring information and inform Private Bankers of any anomalies (internal control, risks, compliance)
- Confirm if necessary, the transactions initiated with Private Bankers and/or clients
- Organization of the work that is on hold in case of absence
- To commit, in view of the procedures and the regulatory environment, to detect any
- compliant transaction - Contribute to the establishment of procedures governing anomalies to avoid any risk to the bank
Prepare the necessary documentation for Private Bankers in order to help them in the administrative tasks related to the functioning of the accounts:
- Prepare and analyze the necessary account opening documentation according to the cases encountered. Carry out administrative
- up of account openings and administrative regularizations. - Carry out requests for changes in the accounts (transition to investment mandates,
- up of closures) - Internally coordinate the requested operations.
- Process the implementation of loan establishment requests.
- Ensure that all the documents necessary for clients’ visits are obtained (reporting, update on current operations,
- up of the processes on hold since the last visit, verification of all types of regularizations) - Keep up to date with new regulatory aspects in order to monitor the Bank’s procedure
- Attend all training provided by the Bank
- Master all the financial products present in the client’s portfolios
PROFILE
- Bachelor degree and/or master in managements/economics
- Fluent in Portuguese, English and/or French
- Minimum experience of 1 year in a similar role
- Good interpersonal skills
- Team spirit
