LOCATION
This role is based in Portugal. We have an office hub in Porto available for those who prefer a hybrid model where you can spend time with colleagues
- person. You will need to be able to commute to our office hub as required from time to time.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
We are looking for an entrepreneurial minded Principal Product Manager to join our app product team – which includes our newly released social network for travellers as well as our core bookings experience. Working together with the rest of the Mobile product team, designer, analysts and Engineers and our Head of Mobile to deliver great experiences and strengthen our social strategy further, as well as keep improving our core business experience.

Our mobile native apps are core to our overall strategy as a company. Both our mobile apps are loved by our customers. i
OS and Android have 4. 8 and 4. 6 store ratings respectively. What we want to do now is go much further and deeper into the lives of our travellers, by enabling them to meet
- minded travellers when they are on their trips. We’ve recently relaunched our apps to give them a fresh new look, as well as introduce a set of features that enable social connections between travellers in the same destination.
We are also starting a new strategic initiative that will help us expand our inventory further with this team taking a leading role in it.
Working with Marketing, Product, Data, and Engineering you will focus on developing and implementing new strategic initiatives. You’ll provide direction and work side by side with engineering to deliver on the Mobile units OKRs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop one of the key strategic initiatives in our Mobile team
- Contribute to the overall company success by driving our critical OKRs
- Focus on growth and prioritising work to help us deliver on our strong growth targets
- Deliver features that further strengthen our product, improving on both acquisition and retention of customers
- Iterate and build on our social strategy together with the rest of the Mobile product team
- Work with both technical and
- technical stakeholders to achieve the best results - Create compelling business cases with high impact on growth
- Discover, implement and solve significant changes and problems
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a Product management role, ideally in B2C in apps space with a focus on ecommerce and/or social networks
- Proven experience driving roadmaps and taking ownership of high level goals
- Proven track record of owning and scaling
- impact, consumer-facing products that drive engagement, retention, and revenue. - Ability to take full ownership of product lifecycle, from ideation through launch and iteration, with a constant focus on delivering value to customers
- Understanding of growth loops and how to build them
- Experience with growth tactics: conversion optimisation, retention analysis, segmentation etc
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align engineering, design, marketing, operations, and executive leadership around a shared vision.
- Experience in
- growth,
- paced environments, with a track record of shipping innovative products at scale. - Previous experience with AI/ML models is an advantage
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge, skills, and competencies applicable to the role.
- Reference any language or specific technical skill requirements.
- General analytical intuition and strong analytical sense
- Strong UX intuition, with an eye for detail and the ability to collaborate closely with design teams to create seamless user experiences.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and influence skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and
- technical audiences.
