Job Title: Principal Data Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Lisbon

Join our Global Business Services team as a Principal Data Quality Assurance Analyst, where you'll be responsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving data issues affecting financial planning, reporting, and operations for assigned areas. Accountabilities:

As a Principal Data Quality Assurance Analyst, you will act as a lead and subject matter expert for all data quality processes and activities related to your assigned area. You will own and manage DQA value and project involvement monthly internal and external reporting. You will lead the investigation of master data, transaction, and mapping issues affecting reporting and planning systems. You will define manual adjustments as needed to temporarily correct
- critical issues. You will work with process analysts to identify root causes of data quality issues and propose process and system improvements. You will use data quality reporting tools, system reconciliations, and direct data analysis to proactively identify potential data issues for resolution. You will contribute to improvements in tools, methods, processes, documentation, and controls within the team. Lastly, you will perform data quality profiling and produce ad hoc data quality reports.

Qualifications:

1. Accounting background
2. Experience of working with financial data and systems, preferably using SAP
3. Background in data analysis and issue investigation in a complex data and system environment
4. Experience in the maintenance and use of common financial data (cost centres, profit centres, chart of accounts, transactional postings)
5. Experience supporting Finance
   - end processes, reporting, and planning
6. Good understanding of data quality and data management principles
7. Proactive, analytical and investigative mindset
8. Proficient in Office applications (Word, Excel, Power
   Point)
9. Excellent attention to detail
10. Good written and verbal communication skills
11. Experience of working in a complex global organisation
12. Pharmaceutical business awareness/business domain knowledge
13. Experience using data quality profiling and monitoring tools
14. Experience in querying data using SQL
15. Experience creating reports
