Your new Role
The Technology Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing HAVI’s technology portfolio, including projects, investments, and resources. You will play a key role in providing strategic insights and recommendations to optimize the performance and alignment of their technology initiatives with organizational goals.
The Technology Portfolio Analyst shall have a record of accomplishment of impeccable analytical skills and will strive to optimize and refine the transparency and accuracy of the portfolio. The successful applicant will support organizational and IT leadership in overseeing, managing, and using the entire life cycle of investments and initiatives to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives.
This person will act as the primary resource for the Technology governance bodies, steering committee, and senior executives for communications, and for reporting the state and performance of initiatives within the portfolio. They will help focus leadership efforts.
To excel in this position, you will provide and escalate insights on achieving an optimized mix among project investments, making the best possible use of all resources and delivering the maximum value and benefits from projects and programs within the portfolio. You will further identify, prioritize, and coordinate project and program resources engaged with all or many of the initiatives within the project portfolio.
You will be responsible to:
- Ensure adherence to the appropriate governance functions related to the portfolio, acting on behalf of the governance bodies, and in accordance with the organization’s guidelines, policies, and practices.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio management governance framework, including its guidelines, policies, and processes aligned with the company's strategic objectives. This encompasses:
- Demand management and strategic alignment of projects and programs
- Portfolio categories and criteria
- Evaluation, selection, and prioritization
- Execution, tracking, and measurement of achieved results
Conduct thorough analysis and reviews with senior Transformation and IT executives, stakeholder committees, the steering committee, and other relevant bodies to assess the health, performance, and alignment of the project portfolio with organizational objectives, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and financial forecasting. Execute changes and reprioritize as necessary to meet business needs.

- making by providing financial insights and analysis on potential projects or initiatives. - Hold regular meetings with IS Leadership bodies to report any issues with individual project performance within the portfolio, ensuring resource and funding usage aligns with plans and highlighting variances.
- Oversee portfolio, program, and project strategic alignment and facilitate key decisions, providing recommendations on whether initiatives should continue, be significantly changed, placed on hold or discontinued.
- Establish criteria for prioritization at the appropriate level, aligned with the goals of the investment council and steering committee, and serve as the point of escalation and arbitration if necessary.
- Collaborate with senior business and IT executives to identify opportunities for applying technology developments to address challenges arising from increasing digitalization.
- Oversee and coordinate risks, issues, and dependencies across portfolio initiatives, resolving or escalating conflicts as needed.
- Direct the development and maintenance of communications and reporting regarding project portfolios, their contents, and the performance of individual initiatives to stakeholders, governance councils, the steering committee, and senior executives.
- Direct the creation and maintenance of required portfolio documentation and artifacts.
- Support and advise executives on actions required to balance the portfolio of existing assets and services.
What you will need to succeed
As a Technology Portfolio Analyst you will need:
- Degree or equivalent in Finance, or related field;
- Proficiency in English;
- Proficiency in Microsoft365;
- Proficiency in Portfolio Management toolset;
- Prince2 or PMP certification is a plus;
- Experience in project management, preferably within a PMO environment, is preferred;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial data analysis;
- Experience in working in diverse and multicultural teams and global matrix organisations;
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and clients.
