MISSIONS :

The Platform Engineer Lead of the "Logboard platform" is responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the platform to meet the needs of AXA Group Operations.

He/She coordinates the team of developers to design, develop, and implement projects and improvements, ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, and easily maintainable.

The Platform Engineer Lead understands stakeholders’ requirements and translates them into technical solutions.

He/She also identifies opportunities to optimize and improve the platform’s performance, monitors usage, and identifies potential areas of risk.

Overall, the Platform Engineer Lead provides technical leadership to ensure the platform's success and effectiveness.

DIMENSION OF ROLE :

Main activities, responsibilities :

Logboard Platform Management :

• Managing the Logboard platform ensuring stability, availability, reliability, and performance
• Defining and implementing platform configurations
• Maintaining
  -
  - date platform documentations (design, architecture, procedures)
• Regularly reviewing and optimizing the platform performance to ensure optimal usage of resources and
  - effectiveness.
• Implementing upgrades, patches, and other enhancements.

Logboard Services Delivery

• Managing the new onboarding (New projects)
• Collecting the new requirements
• Providing work breakdown and estimates for development tasks.
• Overseeing the development, testing, and deployment, ensuring that they meet all required quality standards.
• Managing project timelines
• Providing regular updates on project progress to project stakeholders
• Identifying and mitigating the project risks

Transformation/Innovation

• Identifying areas where the Logboard platform and services can be enhanced and optimized to provide better value to customers.
• Staying up to date with the latest developments and trends in Elastic infrastructure and architecture and identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies and practices to improve the Logboard platform.
• Collaborating with
  - functional teams (Product Owner/Manager, Architects and ELK developers) to drive innovation, develop new offerings by enhancing the existing solution.

SKILLS :

Technical expertise :

• In-depth technical knowledge of the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Development languages & scripting skills
• Cloud infrastructure (Azure)
• Operating systems (Linux, etc. )
• Security (SSL protocol, encryption, etc. )
• Database management
• Platform as code : Terraform, Puppet, Git
  Hub, etc.
• Ability to design and implement solutions,
• Familiarity with log monitoring and analysis tools, data visualization, and performance monitoring.

• Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the required standard.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and knowledges sharing with the team.

• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders (including business analysts, project managers, and other technical teams) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Coach and mentor junior developers to ensure they can meet technical objectives and grow professionally.
• Create and lead training programs for Logboard platform and related technologies.
