Job Description:

Responsibilities - your mission

1. Ensure data value is known, raise data potential through knowledge and data quality.
2. Collaborate with the network with no frontier.
3. Reduce costs by streamlining the information systems and the data management process.
4. Ensure data usage is compliant and doesn’t create risks.
5. Prepare Airbus for future governance challenges.
6. Effectively apply Data Governance policy and requirements.
7. Partner with the Data Governance Deployment Manager to keep informed of Data Governance rules and policies.
8. Discern the Data Governance rules and policies applicable to the platform.
9. Ensure that the platform has the necessary tools and functionalities to comply with the Data Governance framework.
10. Analyze new requirements and projects and ensure architecture impact implementation on the platform.
11. Ensure platform compliance with Enterprise Architecture principles.
12. Prepare specific platform inputs and attend Data Governance Business Domains’ Operational Committees.
13. Assess, prioritize, and advocate overall platform evolution related to Data Governance requirements: opportunity, timeline, stakeholders, funding.

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

1. Functional & IT architecture knowledge of the Platform.
2. Good overview of the Company’s business functions and related data.
3. Data governance & data management concepts.
4. Ability to transpose Data Governance rules to the platform’s context.
5. Knowledge of Data & Analytics principles: Modelling (conceptual, logical, physical), Data Exchange, BI, MDM.
6. Willingness to propose technological solutions, including emerging technology usage.
