- paced industrial setting where you can influence decisions and drive operational excellence? Then you may be the new plant manager at our tyre recycling plant in Ovar.

To lead operations at our site in Ovar, we are looking for an experienced Plant Manager with a strong growth mindset.

Your role & key responsibilities

• Lead all operations, ensuring efficiency, quality and compliance – while contributing to promoting a strong leadership culture across departments.
• Drive production efficiency while ensuring safety, good housekeeping and product quality standards.
• Lead and develop a
  - functional team, ensuring seamless collaboration between Production, Logistics & Maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with legal/regulatory requirements, serving as the primary contact for authorities.
• Optimise tyre intake, stock management and cost efficiency, while driving continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

Your background

• Experience in 24/7 industrial production environments, understanding the challenges of continuous operation.
• Proven experience in managing teams and department heads in a manufacturing setting.
• Educational background in Engineering, Industrial Production, Business Management or other related field (preferred). Technical insight into industrial machinery and production processes.
• Strong business acumen, demonstrating solid cost control performance and regulatory compliance track record.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
