We are an innovative IT services provider with a customer base primarily located in Europe, the USA, China and Hong Kong. We work on a range of innovative IT solutions platforms.

For our branch office, JAVRA Software in Lisbon, we are seeking a creative and innovative Software Engineer PHP. You will be working on a variety of internal and external projects, which may vary in complexity and challenge.

In this role, you will work on a hybrid basis, spending three days at our office and two days working remotely.

Our office is located in Restelo Business Center in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

What we expect from you:

• The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of PHP and be familiar with programming fundamentals.
• The ideal candidate will also have experience with the Symfony or Laravel framework.
• Experience with Pimcore would be an advantage.
• Demonstrates proficiency in the development and integration of application programming interfaces (APIs) and web services.
• A comprehensive grasp of the software development life cycle and best practices.
• Demonstrable expertise in
  - end technologies.
• Demonstrates an
  - depth understanding of
  - oriented programming.

• Enhance and support the current set of core PHP Laravel and PIMCore/Symfony projects.
• Actively contribute to the development of new applications, customisations and solutions.
• Work independently or as part of a team, and you will make a positive impact.
• Take ownership of technical solutions from the initial concept through to final delivery.

• You will be integrated into a young and friendly team with the possibility to work on projects for big international clients.

Requirements

• Able to multitask and focus on deadlines under pressure.
• Familiar with programming fundamentals.

• Passionate about new technology.

• Bachelor's in computer science, IT, software engineering, web development, programming, or other subjects.
• 2 years' experience with PHP development (mandatory).
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
