Objectives:

As a member of the VWFS Porto test team, you will act as the expert and point of contact for performance testing to ensure that product quality meet expectation from a
- functional perspective. Supporting the overall test strategy, standardisation of tools, ways of working and governing the work delivered by test engineers Onsite and Offshore.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Develop performance test plans that outline scope, objectives, resources, schedules, and methods to be used
• Serving as a subject matter expert performance testing tools and frameworks
• Develop and execute performance tests on behalf of market projects
• Consulting with markets on their
  - functional requirements and support the definition of standard performance SLAs
• Monitoring test executions and providing detailed reporting including recommendations and root causes where possible
• Providing continuous maintenance of test sets for all engaged markets
• Allocation and governance of work delivered by performance test engineers to ensure quality standards are being met
• Arranging code reviews to ensure scripts adhere to defined guidelines for the framework
• Researching and reviewing tools that are likely to benefit existing ways of working
• Coaching and mentoring team members in performance testing topics

Level of
- making power/authorization:

• Formation and continuous improvement of performance test strategy
• Allocation of work to other members of the Test team, both onsite and offshore
• Supporting proposals for delivery of performance testing services
• Evaluation and Proposal of new tools, methods, and processes to improve quality of the teams’ delivery

We believe that the right profile for this job should have / be:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in informatics, computer science or comparable
• An expert in performance test principles, with vast experience in building and delivering solutions
• Proficiency in testing tools such as: Artillery. io, Load
  Runner, JMeter, or similar
• In-depth knowledge of performance monitoring and profiling tools to identify and troubleshoot performance issues (e. g. , New Relic, App
  Dynamics, Dynatrace).
• Experience in using application lifecycle management tools (JIRA) and version control systems (GIT)
• ISTQB Performance Testing qualified
• Experience in working in an international team/ project team
• High degree of initiative, responsibility, assertiveness, and willingness to travel
• Positive and
  - minded person with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Speaks & writes English fluently
