PEGA Platform Tech Lead

CONTEXT

PEGA is the official BPM solution in Richemont. Its capabilities and value are more and more recognized among our Business Organizations. To support this strong increasing need, Richemont is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to join our team and lead the development of our PEGA platform.

As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for managing a core team of developers, establishing platform governance, and implementing technical and architectural best practices to ensure scalability and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in supporting the platform's deployment by focusing on three key areas: platform construction, deployment governance, and maintenance & support.

This position involves working in a global environment with distributed teams in different countries and time zones. To achieve its goals, the PEGA Tech Lead will need strong coordination capabilities among technical/functional teams as well as Richemont Business organizations teams.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

1. Platform Construction:

1. Security, Reliability, and Compliance:
1. Design and implement robust security measures to protect the PEGA platform and its data.
2. Ensure the platform's reliability and availability through rigorous testing and monitoring.
3. Guarantee compliance with Richemont regulations and standards.
2. Development Best Practices:
1. Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
2. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the development team.
3. Implement tools and processes to facilitate code reviews, testing, and documentation.

2. Deployment Governance:

1. Team Management:
1. Lead and manage a team of PEGA developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
2. Foster a collaborative and
   - performing team environment.
3. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure clear communication within the team.
2. Demand Management and Sprint Delivery:
1. Manage the flow of development requests and prioritize tasks based on business needs and technical feasibility.
2. Implement Agile methodologies and Dev
   Ops practices to ensure efficient sprint planning, execution, and delivery.
3. Track progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address issues to ensure
   - time delivery.

3. Maintenance and Support:

1. Application Support:
1. Provide technical support for PEGA applications, resolving issues and addressing user inquiries.
2. Monitor application performance and identify potential problems proactively.
3. Implement solutions to improve application stability and performance.
2. Version Management:
1. Manage the process of upgrading PEGA applications to new versions, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
2. Conduct thorough testing and validation before deploying new versions.
3. Document all changes and updates to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
3. Support Team Management:
1. Lead and manage a team of support engineers responsible for providing ongoing support to users.
2. Ensure the support team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to effectively address user issues.
3. Establish clear escalation procedures and communication channels for critical issues.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in PEGA development, with a strong understanding of the PEGA platform and its capabilities. Proven track record managing complex Pega application landscapes.
3. Strong understanding of Pega PRPC platform and tools such as PDC and PDM.
4. Strong technical skills in Java, SQL, and other related technologies.
5. Familiarity with security practices, performance tuning, and monitoring.
6. Experience leading and mentoring development teams is a plus.
7. Experience with Agile methodologies and Dev
   Ops practices.

Certifications:

1. Additional Pega certifications are a plus.

Soft Skills:

1. Excellent analytical and
   - solving abilities.
2. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
3. Ability to lead and inspire technical teams across diverse projects.

Desired Skills:

1. Experience with cloud platforms (e. g. , AWS, Azure, GCP).
2. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
3. Experience with data analytics and reporting.
4. Experience with
   - level application development.
