Payroll Specialist - German Speaker

- oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Lisbon team. This role involves supporting all payroll and benefits administrative processes, ensuring a positive employee experience and focusing on service delivery. The successful candidate will be part of a team that values teamwork and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all administrative tasks to ensure the payroll process according to local rules and labour regulations.
- Manage and validate all data inputs for payroll purposes.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, overtime, and severances.
- Ensure proper documentation and
- keeping. - Review and audit payroll data for accuracy.
- Support the maintenance of payroll records and ensure reports in compliance with legal requirements.
- Comply with the mandatory local payroll and legal reporting.
- Manage all administrative tasks related to employee benefit programs, such as life, health insurance, and retirement plans.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollments, changes, and queries.
- Liaise with insurance providers to resolve issues and maintain compliance.
- Prepare reports for audits and ensure proper documentation.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Provide guidance on compensation, deductions, and benefits options.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources or similar.
- Experience in benefits and payroll – minimum 3 and up to 5 years.
- Fluent in English and German (mandatory).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially strong knowledge of Excel.
- Good understanding of employment and payroll laws and regulations.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong skills to work under pressure and with short deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and
