We are currently looking for a Painting Prefab Workshop Inspector (QA/QC).

Location: Sines, Portugal

Work Modality: On-site

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise surface preparation activities (abrasive blasting, degreasing, profiling) ensuring compliance with standards.
2. Verify the correct application of coatings (primer, intermediate, finishes) and adequate dry film thickness (DFT).
3. Inspect procedures and international standards (ISO 12944, NACE, SSPC, ASTM).
4. Perform tests: roughness, adhesion, relative humidity, dew point, and curing time.
5. Record material traceability and prepare detailed inspection reports.
6. Identify and report
   - conformities and coordinate corrective measures.
7. Review and approve inspection procedures and plans (ITP).
8. Ensure compliance with project safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

Education:

1. Technical degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

Experience:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in coating inspection within prefab workshops or industrial projects.
2. Experience in
   - scale projects in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, or Hydrogen.

Certifications:

1. NACE Level 2 Certification (mandatory) or equivalent.
2. Solid knowledge of international standards: ISO 12944, SSPC, NACE, ASTM.

Languages:

1. Fluent English (mandatory, spoken and written).
2. Portuguese is a plus.
