With a base in 5 European countries and a growing presence in mainland Europe, we are looking for an Operations Specialist to play a major role in our Freight Services team.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all shipments are registered and allocated with the correct driver/vehicle details on the 1 TMS system.
- Ensure accurate allocation of the subcontractor’s details to meet our targets.
- Ensure the punctual update of all timings through rigorous monitoring.
- Maintain effective communication with subcontractors to confirm their understanding of the job details and record this information in the transport monitoring notes.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of all relevant details in the monitoring notes, including seal numbers, site time, goods collection/delivery, correct vehicle registration numbers and driver names.
- Provide regular updates to customers in line with operational procedures, detailed job status/location/eta.
- Provide proactive information to the client in case of delay or unforeseen situation.
- Ensure that Operations Managers/Coordinators/Sales are promptly informed of any delays or issues.
- Ensure that queries and complaints are recorded appropriately and escalated to the relevant persons.
- Ensure all tasks ticked for monitoring on the transport system are tracked in accordance with customer specifications.
- Address and resolve any client concerns or operational issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
- Other general administrative tasks including data input, etc.
You
- Be proactive - anticipating when and where problems may occur.
- Have excellent data analysing skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
- Be IT literate and able to work across multiple systems.
- Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
