Operational Excellence Professional (m/f/d) - Cyber Defense Platforms
The Operational Excellence Professional ensures the Siemens Cybersecurity Strategy is executed well. It serves as a strategic and operational role driving process improvements and operational maturity within the assigned department. This position ensures alignment of the team with the department’s goals and strategy. It connects cybersecurity compliance, reporting obligations, as well as running (technical) projects to ensure operational excellence.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Supporting and coordinating the team, based on DEF Management Office standardization.
- Financial Planning: Supports Financial Planning and Workforce Planning in collaboration with DEF Finance and Department Head.
- Communication Management: Develops and executes communication plans to ensure stakeholders and Defense organization are informed about cybersecurity initiatives, progress, and risks.
- Reporting and Dashboarding: Ensures reporting accuracy and timeliness for
- making purposes. - Service Management: Ensures the Defense Standard on Service Management and supports stakeholder engagement.
- Task Management: Oversees Task Management practices to ensure timely execution of activities and initiatives aligned across Defense Organization.
- Risk Management: Manages department risks in alignment with Defense Management Risks.
- Project Governance: Ensures compliance with organizational standards and DEF Management Office governance practices.
- Manages one of the above defined horizontal DEF topics within DEF Management Office.
This is how you'll win us over:
- Education
- University Diploma or Master's degree or equivalent experience and several years of work experience.
- Project Management (PM@Siemens, Prince2, PMP) or MBA in business analytics.
- Scrum Master is a plus but not required.
- Experience & Skills
- Knowledge to fulfill reporting obligations and ensure cybersecurity compliance.
- Experienced in Cybersecurity (PSS, ISEC) on different levels (BU, corporate).
- Ability to manage and align
- functional teams as well as drive team collaboration and ensure standardization. - Ability to collaborate with other team members and maintain a positive dynamic while submitting frequent requests and working under pressure.
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies, and ability to coordinate and ensure adherence to organizational standards and timely delivery (including certified project manager).
- Ability to create and execute communication plans for the department.
- Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and actionable reports and presentations for middle & senior management and stakeholders.
- Ability to create reports, analyze, and visualize data to support
- making.
- Languages
- Fluent in spoken and written English, including business terminology.
