We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer and Systems Administrator to join our young and dynamic IT & Connectivity team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of servers, network devices, and internal systems. This hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

Network Management:

1. Design, implement, and manage local and
   - area network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, WAF, network load balancers, and VPNs.
2. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum availability.
3. Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades, including applying patches and firmware updates.
4. Configure and maintain network security protocols (e. g. , firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
5. Implement and maintain network policies, procedures, and standards.
6. Assist in the planning and execution of network expansions and optimizations to support future growth.

System Administration:

1. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, hardware, storage, and backup systems for servers and workstations.
2. Ensure system performance, reliability, clustering, and security through regular maintenance and monitoring.
3. Perform backups and disaster recovery tasks to ensure data integrity and availability.
4. Implement and manage system security policies, including user access control, permissions, and encryption.

Collaboration and Support:

1. Support users and troubleshoot issues related to system performance, hardware, and software.
2. Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and network solutions to support organizational goals.
3. Provide support for internal and external users, responding to incidents and requests in a timely manner.
4. Participate in
   - call rotation for
   - hours support and emergencies.
5. Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring proper licensing and documentation.

Disaster Recovery:

1. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
2. Regularly test disaster recovery procedures and update them as necessary.

Documentation and Reporting:

1. Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
2. Generate regular reports on system and network performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities, identifying areas for improvement.

Key Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar role, with a solid understanding of both systems and networking principles, including Linux and Windows operating systems.
3. Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud computing platforms are a plus (VMware and Azure preferred).
4. Strong knowledge of networking and routing protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, RSTP, VRRP, VLANs, NTP, BGP, OSPF, Wi-Fi, etc. ) and hardware.
5. Experience with system monitoring tools and network performance analysis.
6. Scripting and automation skills (e. g. , Power
   Shell, Bash, Perl, Python, Ansible) are desirable.
7. Excellent
   - solving and communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively, with minimal supervision.
9. Relevant certifications are a plus.
