This position is a
- on role, integrated in an energetic growing team where the primary role will be to take care of the company IT Infrastructure. As a Monitoring Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our organization's IT infrastructure and services. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain monitoring systems that track the health and performance of our systems, applications, and network components.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement monitoring solutions to track the performance and availability of servers, databases, and other critical infrastructure components.
2. Manage network monitoring tools to track the status and performance of network devices.
3. Monitor the performance of software applications to identify issues that could affect
   - user experience. Collaborate with application development teams to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
4. Define, configure, and maintain alerting thresholds and notifications to promptly identify and address issues.
5. Create and maintain reports and dashboards that provide insights into system performance and trends.
6. Provide training and guidance to teams on the proper use of monitoring tools and best practices.
7. Collaborate with
   - functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of IT systems and ensure all infrastructure is covered.
8. Maintain documentation related to monitoring configurations and procedures.

About You

1. Curious, have a good aptitude for learning and enjoy variety, with opportunities to work with a variety of technologies and systems.
2. Proficiency in using monitoring tools and frameworks.
3. Excellent
   - solving and troubleshooting skills.
4. Ability to work as part of an international team, as well as being part of a local market team.
5. Bonus points for knowledge in Ansible.
6. Strong bias for action and ownership.
7. Strong communication and team collaboration skills, both written and verbal.

Language Skills

1. English – Fluent.
2. Portuguese (if not a native speaker).
3. Other languages can be a plus.
