About The Team

You'll be joining the team leading Entrust's Identity portfolio, including the solutions formerly Onfido (AI-powered digital identity solution). With the completed acquisition, Entrust now provides the industry's most comprehensive portfolio of AI-powered,
- centric security solutions.

Our technology helps businesses verify real identities using AI and biometrics, ensuring secure remote customer and business onboarding. By assessing
- issued IDs and facial biometrics with innovative dashboards and fraud signals, we provide companies with the assurance they need to operate securely while allowing people to access services quickly and safely.

Position Overview

As Entrust tackles the problem of bringing identities online, this means taking on the challenges of bringing both Biometrics and ID Documents into the virtual world. The work you could come help us solve will involve:

• Develop
  -
  -
  - art machine
  - backed services for automated biometric verification, document classification and extraction, as well as fraud analysis.
• Build automated pipelines capable of minimising the time and effort of bringing support to new models and capabilities.
• Iterate over research projects to optimise them and deploy them to production.
• Continuously improve monitoring and tracing to provide a highly available service for our customers.

What You Will Do

• Work in a
  - functional team to design, build, test and ship
  - catching products.
• Work closely with researchers to take research developed ML models to production.
• Use
  -
  - shelf machine learning solution to provide simple initial solutions for fraud detection.
• Design and implement efficient
  - processing steps around digital images or video files.
• Extend existing ML pipeline to fit an increasing array of use cases.
• Analyze algorithmic performances and identify common issues and potential improvements.
• Provide technical guidance, support and advice to other engineers at Entrust
  
  

• Good knowledge and experience with Python.
• Familiarity with scientific libraries and frameworks such as Numpy, Tensorflow, Keras, Scikit Learn, Open
  CV, ONNX.
• Interested in developing, deploying and monitoring
  - facing machine learning systems.
• You're enthusiastic and technically curious about ML technologies.
• Capable with testing frameworks, such as Py
  Test.
• Experience with dependency management tools (e. g. Poetry)
  
  

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with various different image and video file formats.
• Understanding of Computer Vision and standard Machine Learning algorithms (like decision trees, neural networks, support vector machines, clustering, …)
  
  

• Backend: mostly Python and Ruby at Entrust.
• Frontend: React and Typescript.
• ML: Tensorflow, Jupyter, Dask.
• Kubernetes and Docker for deployment.
• AWS for underlying infrastructure (Aurora, Redis, Dynamo, S3, SNS, SQS, Cloud
  Front, API Gateway, etc. ).
• Gitlab for software lifecycle management.
  
  

The technologies we use most frequently in Machine Learning are Python (3. x), Git, g
RPC, WANDB,
- io, Tensorflow (and
- serving), ONNX, Open
CV, Docker and Kubernetes.

At Entrust, we have a distributed workforce. This role will be based as advertised on the job description. We have a hybrid model, and you can choose to work fully remote, or come to our offices! We let all our employees choose what’s best for them.
