Your Role

As the Senior for our Global Server Operating Systems Team, you will collaborate with experts to develop innovative solutions for the logistics industry, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency. You will drive continuous improvement processes that enhance service quality and security, including designing, maintaining, and supporting our global infrastructure operating systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee server operating systems in KN's
  - cloud environment (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Amazon Linux, Microsoft Windows Server).
• Design, architect, and operate global infrastructure for operating systems (Red Hat Satellites, Red Hat Identity Manager - IPA, Microsoft Windows Server Update Services - WSUS).
• Design, maintain, and provision Golden Images via automated monthly build pipelines.
• Support and create custom images for other infrastructure and application internal teams.
• Offer 24/7
  - call support for major OS incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis for OS-related incidents.
• Collaborate with other infrastructure, cloud, and service desk teams and engage with vendors for lifecycle ideas.

Your Skills and Experiences

• 4+ years experience in server OS design and operations in an enterprise setting.
• Proficient in managing OS/patch lifecycles using Red Hat satellites and WSUS.
• Expertise in OS security and hardening procedures (e. g. , CIS benchmarks).
• Skilled in Python, Powershell scripting, Ansible configuration, and Hashicorp Packer.
• Knowledgeable about integrating operational procedures into Gitlab, JIRA, etc.
• Familiar with ITIL principles.
• Enthusiastic about working in international teams.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
