About the Role
Selina Portugal is looking for a talented Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts across the hotel and F&B operations. This role combines strategic marketing with creative execution, ensuring Selina’s bold and youthful brand resonates with our guests while driving engagement and revenue.
Reporting to the Group GM, you will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan, manage digital campaigns, oversee branding efforts, and coordinate with agencies and suppliers to execute marketing strategies effectively.
What You Will Be Doing
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy aligned with the business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and audience insights.
Brand Development & Transition
- Lead the development of a new brand identity for the hotel and F&B operations.
- Manage the transition from the current brand to the new one, ensuring clear communication with guests and stakeholders.
Digital Marketing & Campaigns
- Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Implement strategies focused on increasing direct bookings and brand awareness.
Agency & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with marketing agencies and suppliers to ensure the effective execution of campaigns within budget and deadlines.
- Evaluate agency performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Performance Analysis
- Track and analyze key marketing metrics, adapting strategies in
- time for maximum results. - Use
- driven insights to refine marketing efforts and optimize conversion rates.
Budget Management
- Effectively allocate and manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI.
Public Relations & Influencer Marketing
- Establish and maintain relationships with influencers, PR agencies, and media partners to enhance brand visibility.
- Develop and execute PR campaigns and events to generate buzz around the hotel and F&B offerings.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure marketing efforts align with guest experience and business goals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and marketing innovations.
Content & Creative Direction
- Oversee the creation of compelling content and visuals for marketing campaigns.
- Supervise a designer to ensure
- quality,
- brand content across all platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, branding, and campaign management (hospitality experience preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with a
- driven approach. - Experience managing agencies and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese (Spanish is a plus).
- Knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and digital advertising strategies.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a
- paced environment.
