HOTEL MADEIRA is a 3-star hotel located in the heart of Funchal, known for its personalized service and collaborative environment.

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team at HOTEL MADEIRA. This role involves managing communication, conducting market research, enhancing customer engagement, and supporting food & beverage campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement marketing and social media strategies.
2. Ensure the hotel, apartments, and restaurants within the cluster are effectively represented on digital platforms, OTAs, and Meta Search sites.
3. Regularly audit online content, images, and star ratings, coordinating necessary updates.
4. Identify and execute
   - specific digital marketing initiatives, including local channel activations.
5. Create engaging content, including posts, stories, and reels.
6. Manage and optimize social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik
   Tok, Whats
   App, and Linked
   In.
7. Analyze engagement metrics and adjust strategies to enhance performance.
8. Collaborate with the team on promotions, events, and special campaigns.
9. Be available to work during events as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Strong communication and customer service skills.
2. Experience in market research and marketing strategies.
3. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team.
5. Experience in the hospitality and food & beverage industry is a plus.
6. Degree or relevant training in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Hospitality Management, or Tourism.
7. Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
8. Knowledge of the platforms/systems is valued: Meta Business Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Word
   Press, Hijiffy, Slack, Trello, Siteminder, Website SEO, Notion, Host, and Microsoft Office.
