EY is strengthening its Angolan corporate tax advisory team (working remotely from EY Lisbon Office or directly in EY Luanda Office). Your key responsibilities

As a manager for our Business Tax Service's practice, you will develop the combination of deep tax knowledge and a sophisticated understanding of business drivers to serve your clients to the best of your ability:

1. Execution of a variety of corporate, personal, trust and partnership assignments including investment, planning, compliance and controversy matters;
2. Provide timely and
   - quality services and work products that exceed client expectations;
3. Coaching and mentoring a growing and exciting junior staff team to execute assignments with accuracy and completeness;
4. Enhance technical skills by remaining
   -
   - date on trends, new legislative developments and tax authority decisions, and apply them to complex situations relevant to the client;
5. Identify opportunities for providing tax management and other special services;
6. Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude and by maintaining the confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and related work products.

To qualify for the role, you must have

1. An undergraduate degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of corporate tax advisory experience – tax planning, compliance, litigation;
2. An accounting designation or other related experience or certification relevant to tax manager role;
3. Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership ability;
4. A commitment to learn and provide tax solutions in a growing technology environment;
5. Strong project management and organizational skills;
6. Process oriented with excellent documentation skills;
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.
