• Manage team members in a matrix reporting model.

• Collaborate with peers to help drive initiatives and manage scrums for various initiatives.
• Support availability metrics (SLO/SLIs) and observability through automation to report on key performance metrics and scaling of operational execution; design new metrics and enhance existing metrics to support the future state of the business.
• Delegate to staff to create and/or improve services, configuration, and tools that enable observability on availability and performance of our cloud services.
• Measure team performance and results to drive focus and inspire top performance.
• Report on progress of schedules and tasks to senior leadership and program management.
• Develop and manage collaborative relationships with vendors for utilized components and/or services.
• Participate in
  - call escalation rotations for provided services.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years building infrastructure systems with 5+ leading teams managing systems.
• BS or MS in Computer Science/Information Management/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Wide range of experience across compute, storage and networking technologies and concepts is a plus.
• Contributes to Porto team’s alignment to Infrastructure delivery services.
• Solid experience working across organizations and departments to deliver services to customers a must.
• Self-motivated, strong sense of accountability, good team player, able to handle multiple tasks at once and work independently with minimal supervision.
