Job description

Mantu is looking for a Controlling Accountant to strengthen our finance department in Luxembourg or Lisbon.

Your missions

Accounting Management:

• Maintain general and analytical accounting records.
• Prepare tax and social declarations (VAT, corporate tax, etc. ).
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Monitor and control accounts (reconciliation, bank statements, provisions).
• Prepare financial statements in collaboration with the accountant and the statutory auditor.

Financial Controlling:

• Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze discrepancies between forecasts and actual performance and propose corrective actions.
• Track profitability and costs of different activities or projects.
• Develop and improve reporting and management tools.
• Automate financial dashboards (Excel, Power BI, ERP, etc. ).
• Contribute to optimizing financial and accounting processes.

Your profile

• Degree in finance, accounting, or management.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting, with initial exposure to financial controlling.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc. ).
• Familiarity with an ERP system (SAP, Sage, Oracle, etc. ) is a plus.
• Analytical mindset, precision, and ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with different departments.
