ABOUT THE JOB

• As a Machine Learning Platform Engineer, you will be part of a
  - functional team that provides a Data Science platform for TUI Group to utilize. You will work with your team to deliver the best answers to our customers’ needs and take over full responsibility for the platform, from design to operation, ensuring quality and security.
• You will use your deep technical skills to build and run the Data Science platform. Your expertise in developing and operating technical platforms will enable our business development teams to work more efficiently, incorporating your machine learning experience.
• You’ll help other teams adopt your platform through direct engagement, ensuring operational readiness and observability.
• You will continuously improve CI/CD and automation maturity and efficiency, handling the entire design, build, test, deploy cycle.
• You will translate ideas into outcomes and collaborate with teams to research, evaluate, and test new approaches, processes, and tools.
• You will actively contribute to Communities of Practice, collaborating in shared initiatives.
• You love to work in an international,
  - cultural team, driving for technical excellence, ownership, and
  - organization.

ABOUT YOU

• Experience working with highly available, distributed systems in a cloud environment.
• Desire to build
  - service capability for platform consumers.
• Proven
  - on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and managing scaled cloud systems.
• Good experience with AWS Sagemaker, AWS Bedrock, and Data
  Dog.
• Knowledgeable with CI/CD, preferably Gitlab CI.
• Experience with Kubernetes is beneficial.
• Proven track record in Data Science projects as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Customer centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services.
• Strong
  - solving skills coupled with good communication skills.
• Understanding of social and ethical implications of software engineering.
• Frontend experience in React or similar.
• Open-minded, inquisitive,
  - long learner.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, highly autonomous.
