Job Overview

- existing Data Science & Machine Learning Division. The organisation has an enviable wealth of digital / B2C data available to them given the scale of their userbase. The company would like to capitalise further on this, hence their ambitious (but
- defined) hiring plans.

In particular, we’re currently on the lookout for an experienced Machine Learning Engineering Team Lead – someone who combines the best of Platform focused software engineering, management skills, and machine learning knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clear technical and strategic leadership for the ML Engineering unit.
• Decide the timelines and roadmap to enable Product execution.
• Liase with Machine Learning & Data Science leadership to think of new useful ideas.
• Delve into ‘hands-on’ elements of the role and provide engineering standards and best practice for the unit.
• Manage team members.

Requirements

• An academic background in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science (or similar).
• A number of years of commercial experience acting as a cross functional leader for both software and ML engineers.
• An ability to write production quality Python code.
• An understanding of the end to end Machine Learning lifecycle.
