Job Description:

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the processing of aircraft material including physical handling, inspection, and forwarding to repair shops or customers. Additionally, they ensure the timely supply of materials in close coordination with the customer.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Receiving, clarification, storing, supplying and shipping of mainly aircraft material as per described procedures including physical handling.
• Perform inventory control, including cycle counts and identifying discrepancies as well as storage time expiry checks.
• Process transportation requests in compliance with governmental regulations.
• Input data in EDP system and archive documentation according to established procedures.
• Verify that airworthiness certificates for aircraft materials comply with all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Daily communication with team members regarding operational status and changes.
• Prioritize and process customer requests, supply, and complaints.
• Proactively work to resolve discrepancies.
• Support projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in intralogistics (goods receiving, warehousing, shipping).
• Experience in aviation logistics is an advantage.
• High school or Professional School certificate.
• Good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills.
• Good computer skills (MS-Office), SAP is an advantage.
• Must have a valid B and forklift driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift packages up to 30 kg.
• Willingness to work shifts, holidays, and/or weekends as necessary.
• IATA regulations training, dangerous goods courses, Export Control courses are an advantage.
• Lean Basics or Intensive Training is an advantage.
