Life Sciences | Mechanical Project Designer

ALTEN Portugal, a leading force in the IT, Engineering and Life Sciences industries, is on the lookout for a vibrant and driven Mechanical Project Designer to join our dynamic team in the Life Sciences division.

As a Mechanical Project Designer, you will play a crucial role in defining and monitoring mechanical projects, ensuring the development and creation of P&IDs and layouts in Auto
CAD 2D. You will coordinate and supervise the project on site, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality of execution. You will also be the point of contact between teams, suppliers, and clients, ensuring alignment and resolving technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defining and monitoring mechanical projects, ensuring technical viability and compliance with regulations.
• Drawing up and updating P&IDs and layouts in Auto
  CAD 2D.
• Coordinating and supervising the execution of the mechanical project on site, ensuring that deadlines and quality are met.
• Interfacing with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and clients to align project needs.
• Support in resolving technical problems and implementing solutions on site.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience using Auto
  CAD 2D for P&ID and layouts, as well as in coordinating and managing mechanical projects.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of technical drawing and Auto
  CAD 2D, especially in creating and updating P&IDs and layouts. Experience in coordinating and managing mechanical projects is essential. Communication and organizational skills are required to deal with multidisciplinary teams and resolve challenges on site.
• Languages: Knowledge of English is beneficial.
