We are an electricity producer from wind, solar, hydro, biomass, and storage, and also a service provider to 3rd party clients such as Development, EPC, O&M, and Distribution. Our Legal department is looking for a Legal Counsel. This position will be based in Porto and will have the following responsibilities:

• Responding on behalf of the company to requirements for third party client tenders.
• Providing legal analysis, drafting, and negotiation of national and international contracts for the construction and operation of renewable power plants (EPC, O&M).
• Acting on behalf of the company to analyze and mitigate risk, to draft and negotiate contracts related to distribution activities such as agency, distribution, partnership agreements, etc.
• Acting on behalf of the company in disputes; providing advice on legal issues such as customer and supplier claims,
  - litigation, and litigation.
• Providing generalist support for the company's legal requirements; drafting letters, policies, contract templates, and legal documents; ensuring accurate legal advice is given and that procedures are followed as per current local legislative and statutory compliance.
• Keeping updated about changes and developments in case law, contract law, liability, public procurement, local legislation, and other topics.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or master’s degree in law.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience.
• Experienced in projects with high complexity.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and construction law.
• Advanced English and Spanish language level.
