Your role
We are seeking a dynamic, creative and passionate Legal Advisor to join our team. As a Legal Advisor you will be mainly responsible for legal daily activities and reporting to headquarters Legal Department. This is an excellent opportunity to gain
- on experience in the vacation rental industry and be part of the fast growth of our company. This role is based in Cascais, Portugal.
Your Journey
- Provide advice on ongoing Portugal legal matters
- Preparing, filing and controlling all legal related actions and activities
- Maintain the organisation’s legal files and ensure that the working practices are in accordance with its policies and regulations
- Ensuring company’s compliance with legislation in force.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to the framework of the company.
- Draft legal opinions, memorandums, and briefing documents
- Conduct legal due diligence on target properties and/or companies and draft DD and/or red flag reports.
- Assist the team in drafting and negotiating terms and contracts
- Constantly follow legislation relevant to short term rentals management companies.
- Manage the legal aspects related to governmental bodies and local authorities.
- Liaising with Notary offices on various matters.
- Liaising and controlling the activity of outsourced law firms
What do you bring to your trip
- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- At least 5 years of experience in the real estate and/or corporate law field. The candidate needs to have knowledge of local HR legislation.
- Experience in Hospitality or Retail industries will be a plus.
- Proficiency in Portuguese & English.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good administration and collaboration skills
