POSITION SUMMARY:We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated 6S Project Intern to support our quality team on implementing a lean environment on our prototyping and tests facility. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain valuable,
- on experience in applying the 6S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety) to improve operational efficiency, safety, and workplace organization. You will work closely with the R&D, operations and quality teams to support 6S implementation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility and the organization. This is a 12-month internship. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Support 6S Implementation: Assist with the execution of 6S activities in shopfloor and administrative areas. Help implement processes to maintain organized, efficient, and safe workspaces, Data Collection & Reporting: Gather data on current 6S compliance, track metrics, and assist in generating progress reports. Analyse data to identify areas for improvement. Assist in 6S Audits: Participate in 6S audits and assessments, documenting findings and helping to ensure compliance with the 6S standards, Visual Management Support: Help create and maintain visual management tools (such as boards, labels, signs, and charts) to support 6S practices across departments, Training & Documentation: Assist in organizing 6S training sessions and help create educational materials and relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to 6S practices, Process Improvement Support: Participate in identifying areas for improvement by assisting in root cause analysis and helping to implement corrective actions, Safety and Cleanliness: Assist in ensuring that all safety measures are incorporated into the 6S framework and that work areas maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety, Collaboration: Work closely with various teams and departments to understand their challenges and help implement solutions that align with Lean and 6S principles. INTERACTIONS & INTERFACES:Internally will interact with all the departments, Externally with service suppliers and any other entity related with the function, Reports to ESG, Quality, Env. and H&S coordinator. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Master (preferred) or bachelor’s degree in: Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field, Strong interest in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement processes, Basic knowledge of 6S, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies is helpful but not mandatory, Excellent organizational and
