The role:

Reviva are working with a Reg
Tech leader to find their next Lead Backend Software Engineer. The business grew substantially in 2024 and have no plans of slowing down. The next piece in the puzzle is growing the technical teams responsible for building the ever evolving product suite that has made them a fierce challenger in the market.

Location:

• Lisbon - ideally 2 days in this office per week.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and Lead a team of 4 developers.
• Hands off role, but strong technical experience needed for code reviews etc.
• Help shape the product, an exciting
  - based Saa
  S solution with
  - in Artificial Intelligence.
• Software Architecture and Design.

Requirements:

• Strong Technical experience with Java and Spring.
• Ideally 3-5 years+ of leadership experience, leading teams of 3+ developers.
• Experience of code reviews, training, and overall management/leadership of developers.
• Cloud experience, ideally AWS but Azure or GCP also welcome.
• Software Architecture/Design experience is essential.
• Frontend knowledge of Angular and backend knowledge of Python is desirable but not essential.
• Other tools/Tech: Hibernate, Rabbit
  MQ, Kafka - Desirable.
