We are looking to create a
- minded team of QA Engineers, which will assist in raising the bar on our Software Solutions. We are looking for engineers who can deliver on their work, but who can assist us in bringing continuous improvements in everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols
• Understanding the requirements of our software from the mechanical systems
• Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas
• Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures
• Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas
• Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications
• Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures
• Identifying quality issues and creating test reports
• Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field
• Relevant experience of multiple years working as a Test Engineer in an Embedded Environment
• Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases
• Great communication skills and fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Aspiration and open mindset to learn about wind turbine design processes from a software engineering perspective
• Experience with SCRUM and Agile Development
• Understanding of Continuous integration solutions with e. g. Git, Jenkins, Atlassian suite
• Ability to identify with the Vestas Values: Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Simplicity

• Ability to create trust among teammates and shape stakeholders through behavior
• Committed to outcomes and able to complete tasks
